I’m António, a software engineer from Porto, Portugal. I’ve spent 10+ years working on ERP, retail, pharmacy, payments, compliance, testing, and the tooling around Microsoft Business Central.

What I’m up to

Currently: Building ERP solutions at LS Retail with Business Central, TypeScript, AL, automated testing, and modern dev workflows.

Learning: A Rust learning path — backend services, developer tools, and systems design.

Writing about: Business Central, agentic programming, testing, and developer workflows.

Background

Most of my work sits at the intersection of business rules, integrations, and shipping software that teams can maintain. I care about clear tests, sensible automation, and tools that reduce friction without adding ceremony.
